As you might have guessed from our name, Saskatoons are kind of our thing. Nearly 40 years ago, Paul planted the lower field with saskatoon berries and started a u-pick, from there…well the rest is history. The Northline variety is our favourite, producing the best size and best tasing berries, to which we use in our homemade products every day.
These plants are propagated from our plants and raised up here ready for you to take home and plant. Saskatoons like tons of sun and grow like a bush – mature plants can reach 10-12 feet tall. These plants are 2 years old, which means they will require another 2-3 years to produce berries. They don’t require a cross pollinator.
